Welcome to code.org

Welcome to code.org

OK, you have sorted out how to do most things in Scratch Jr. So what's next?

Luckily there is a web site where there are lots and lots of resources to help you take the next step. It is called code.org

You can go there from this link https://code.org/ You will find lots and lots of information for students and teachers about programming. If you want to try out some programming puzzles, check out the "Students" area where there are lots and lots of interactive puzzles which teach you programming step by step. Try out a few of them. Each of them will teach you different things, like events, iteration, all of which you will later need to build bigger programs that do interesting stuff.

A cool thing is that the puzzles are explained by real, successful people, including Bill Gates who started Microsoft and Mark Zuckerberg who started Facebook!

You don't need to register or log in at this stage, maybe we will do that later.

One thing to remember though is that this is a web site, not an App, so you need to be online for it to work, whereas Scratch Jr. only needs to be online to get the App and after that you can use it anywhere.
